I was going to the doctors today for a check up. It had been two months since that shit happened with Miguel. I didn’t want to admit it but I was missing him like crazy but it was best for me to stay away from him. If he wanted to find anything out about the baby he had Hazel call, which was fine with me. He knew about the appointment today and was waiting for me to call his sister.

“Hello.” I answered my phone without looking. I repeated myself twice and no one answered so I hung up. It rang again and this time the person spoke.

“Don’t think because you having a baby by my man that he wants to be with you.” I laughed at how dumb she sounded. I started my car and let the Bluetooth kick in before I responded.

“Let me guess. Faith is this you?”

“Yes, it is bitch. Who else would it be?”

“Listen, I haven’t spoken to Miguel in a couple of months. I’m sorry if you feel threatened by my child because it can’t be me you’re concerned about. I don’t want anything to do with him so you have nothing to worry about.”

“Good. Now that we have an understanding. I know his sister is having a baby shower this weekend and unfortunately, she invited your stupid ass. I just wanted you to know, I’ll be there and if I think you’re trying any slick shit, pregnant or not I’m whooping your ass.”

“Ok thanks for letting me know Faith. I’ll make sure to remember that when I get there. Is there anything else?” This bitch was getting on my nerves.

My doctor told me I had hypertension during my pregnancy, so I had to take it easy. I’m not supposed to stress in no way, shape or form and she was about to make it go sky high.

“No. As long as we have an understanding everything will be fine.” She disconnected the phone.

I sent Hazel a text letting her know the appointment went fine and I didn’t find out what I was having because I wanted to be surprised. I knew if I called her, she would sense something was wrong and I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss her shower.

I wanted my sisters to beat her ass again while I sat front row this time. Friday couldn’t get here fast enough. I told my sisters what the bitch did and we couldn’t wait to get over there. This time Keya was coming because she missed out the last time due to class. She was ready before we even took off. We had to calm her ass down so the guys wouldn’t catch on.

“They were staying with Miguel and Keya was staying at the hotel with me. He offered me his room, but I didn’t wanna be anywhere around him. I knew he would be at his sister’s shower, but it would be surrounded with people and I’m sure Faith would be all over him.
